ACCOMODATIONS
Although accessible by boat or plane, Island Lodge doesn't come up short on amenities. Until you're ready to retire into the cozy, rustic comfort of one of our cabins, whatever your choice, Island Lodge offers it all from dusk to dawn. Take advantage of our full dock services, than retire to the main lodge and share fishing stories with other guests. Relax and enjoy satellite TV, movies and our games area or stay connected with high speed internet or VOIP telephone service….only if you want to, of course!
Your choice of accomodations include our original log or more modern cabins on our 8 acre island. Each cabin has a character of its own and offers a different panoramic view of the lake. Let the loons sing you a lullaby as you gaze out at the Northern Lights from your bed. Our cabins sleep two to nine guests and offer lights powered by our own generator, wood or propane heaters and all have fully equipped kitchens. Linens, pillows and blankets are all provided.

The staff at Eagle Lake Island Lodge is here to make sure your vacation will be memorable and relaxing. This is Canadian comfort at its best! Loosen your belts if you choose one of our American plans because they feature three mouth watering, gourmet meals daily. The food is superb and in the words of one appreciative guest,“…enough to make a grown man cry”. The extras are what make any camp special and Island Lodge has them.
Housekeeping guests are always welcome. Our packages include a 7 night stay. Come and join us in the main lodge where everyone gathers to exchange fishing stories, play card games or enjoy a movie.
Featured meals include slow roasted prime rib, New York sirloin steak, seasoned roast pork loin, BBQ chicken and ribs.
Ultimate American Plan: For those discerning guests that want to be pampered with incredible service, food, accommodations and guide services during your entire stay.
Premium American Plan: Those guests that want the delicious meals and accommodations but only require TWO days of guide service.
Standard American Plan: Stay with meals, accommodations and boat but does not include guide services.
Deluxe Housekeeping Plan: This selection is designed for those guests that want to prepare their own meals while enjoying the Canadian fishing experience.
Cabin Upgrade: Accomodations including modern indoor bathroom - Add %10 to all package prices
Your travel choices include:
(1) Arrival by float plane.
(2) Flying to either international airports where our shuttle service will meet you.
(3) Driving directly to "The Landing".
Our water taxi service (15 mins), will complete the trip to "The Island".
Boats
We provide our guests with two choices of boats:
Standard Boat: Safe, deep "V" Lund, 16 foot aluminum equipped with swivel seats, fish finders and 20 hp electric start outboards.
Upgraded Boat: For those more seasoned fishermen, upgraded Alumacraft, 17 foot aluminum boats, with live well, GPS fish finder, deluxe interiors and 50 hp electric start motors are your choice. Upgrades should be booked in advance, as they are in limited supply.
Own Boat: Guests visiting with your own boat will be assigned a slip with electric power during your visit. Gas, oil and bait are also available at the dock.
